JOINING OF PIPELINES

Piping may be joined by various methods :

  1. Butt-Welded Joints. ('A')
  2. Welded Flange Joints. ('B' & 'C')
  3. Screwed Flange Joints. ('D')
  4. Unions. ('E')

(See Figures : 2 & 3)

Other methods of joining pipes are used according to materials of construction and safety requirements.
